Since entering midlife, like most women Stephanie has experienced “the shift,” noticing her body was no longer responding to the same exercise. New research has shown that women in midlife and beyond need to focus on a new, nuanced approach to enduring wellness during this time.

Enter contemporary Pilates...

While Pilates benefits everybody at every age, in midlife body composition begins to shift, and we need to train our body in new ways. With declining muscle mass we must add “progressive load” using heavy weights. We also need to maximize our heart-rate zone to combat hormonal weight gain. That’s why a holistic training approach is essential!
